The first two years of the MD Program – known as Foundations - take place in laboratory, classroom, clinical, and community settings and are designed to prepare students for the workplace learning that occurs in clerkship. Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery (Oto-HNS) will be covered in the TOPIC and ICE components of the program in both first and second years of medical school. Preclerkship Longitudinal Experience
The program provides an opportunity for 1st or 2nd year medical students to spend four half days in community otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery.
