Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Our Goals:

Designate a lead to steward the development and implementation of an equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) Action Plan for the department
Better understand the range and scope of EDI issues within the department and implement EDI best practices
Implement regular and ongoing faculty development in EDI to promote awareness and change recruitment and hiring practices

Our EDI Committee is chaired by Dr. Dupe Oyewumi, co-chairs Drs. Yvonne Chan and Adam Kwinter
